Stand up For Yourself. Speak up For Yourself.

 I am so excited to be immersing myself in a sixteen week training with Chloe Goodchild called "Liberate the Voice of Your Soul."  "And the word was made flesh" truly comes alive as we sound from a place of stillness deep into the core of our bones.


Here is a little practice that changed my life!

  • Imagine you are like a tree with roots sinking deep into the core of the earth. 

  • Feel your feet planted on the ground.

  • Bring your awareness to the  bones in your calves, knees, thighs, pelvis, spine, ribs, sternum, neck and skull. 

  • Sound on one note.


Be still and know that I am here.  (Pause and listen)

Be still and know that I  am. (Pause and listen)

Be still and know. (Pause and listen)

Be still. (Pause and listen)

Be. (Pause and listen)


Later that day, I was speaking with a lady who usually intimidates me with her skilful and forceful rhetoric and critical eye. I would usually shrink away into being invisible. 


However, I was able to stand up for myself and speak up for myself. The result was quite amazing!  She really softened and admitted that she felt anxious around me because I was in my heart!
